Another annual trip to Mountain View and what a day for it! The water was really high and the fish were biting! This year we took along Dave Roberts. Now I'm not the newbie anymore.
Trying to avoid the crowds can be a difficult task sometimes. I found a place where not many people go. The convergence of the North and Middle Forks of the Boise River. Now this is what I call fly fishing!
This little beauty (10" Brookie) was the only result of my trip to the convergence. I was enjoying the scenery so much I forgot to enjoy the fishing. I'll go back for sure!
As an annual event, my friends and I make a trip down to the Nevada border on the Shoshone / Paiute reservation to partake in fishing heaven. The Mountain View and Sheep Creek resevoirs are wonderful to fish at and always a good time.
